Automotive battery is used for cranking purpose of a vehicle,it needs high current discharge at the time of ignition.
Where as an Inverter battery used as a power bank and its discharge is need based at the time of power failure.
12 volt of an ordinary inverter battery
The whole purpose of an inverter is to convert DC to AC.Mainly, you should check the voltage of the inverter, and of the battery - they should match. As to the 350 watt: the battery must be able to provide that much power. Check the battery specifications. Actually, it is also possible that you take less power from the battery - it really depends what devices you connect to the inverter.
There are a lot of automotive stores that offer batteries such as pep boys. Pep Boys has a wide variety of different batteries needed for different task. They also offer battery replacements for free.

Many people agree that the inverter battery is better dry. The wet battery can cause spills and damages. They can also cause burns to people.
automobile batteries have more number of lead plates to facilitate quick and large amount of power output during engine starting. They give large amount of power for few seconds to start the engine, not continuously, Whereas the Inverter batteries give steady power output for long time.Deep Cycle Batteries:The inverter batteries are normally called deep cycle batteries. The battery plates in such type batteries won't get damaged even in deep discharge condition. But the automobile battery is quite different from deep cycle batteries, if an automobile battery is discharged deeply, then definitely it will damage the lead plates and reduce the battery life
electrolytic battery
That would probably depend what you mean with "use with"; for example, connecting two such similar objects, but with different voltages, in parallel doesn't seem safe to me.

Battery No. SMMPL what is its manufacturing year?
Inverter is the one which converts DC to AC. UPS is the one which provides you uninterrupted power supply. UPS as a system comprises of converter (converts AC to DC), battery, battery charger circuit and an inverter (converts DC to AC). Inverter is part of UPS.
