Venus rotates in the opposite direction to the Earth. The Sun rises in the West

and sets in the East. Of course you couldn't see this from the planet's surface

because of the atmosphere. Also the rotation is very slow at about 243

Earth days in length.

The difference is that Mercury is closer to the sun than Venus, Mercury's temperatures can go under -400 and Venus's temperature doesnt go behind 30
