what are the differences between pre-synaptic and post-synaptic neuron?

Yes. A synapse by definition is the space (gap) between one neurons terminal buton and another neurons dendrites. So, the neuron with the terminal buton end is known as the pre-synaptic neuron and the neuron after the synapse is known as the post-synaptic neuron.

What is sentence with the synapse?

A synapse is the gap between a neuron.

The space between two neurons or between a neuron and a receptor is known as a?

A Synapse is the space between two neurons or between a neuron and a receptor organ. A single neuron can have a few, or several hundred synapses.

What is the space between 2 neurons where electrical and chemical signals jump from neuron neuron?

It's a 'bridge' where the neurotransmitters jump from one neuron to the other. It is called synapse. This is a simple notion that I have about this subject. For a complete review involving this part of the brain and how it works see the link to "Neuron" below.

Does a synapse separates the axion end of one neuron to the dendrite end?

Yes, a synapse is the space (a VERY SMALL one!) between the axon of one neuron and the dendrites of the next neuron.

What neuron conducts impulses toward the synapse?

All neurons'impulsestravel to the synapse of the neuron. The synapse is the end of the neuron where theimpulsecantravelto another neuron or the any other receptor cell in the body.

What neuron is before a synapse?

The synapse consists of the two neurons, one of which is sending information to the other. The sending neuron is known as the pre-synaptic neuron (i.e. before the synapse) while the receiving neuron is known as the post-synaptic neuron (i.e. after the synapse).

A synapse formed between the axonal ending of one neuron and the cell body of another neuron?

True

What is the space between one neuron and the next is?

It's called synapse

What us synapse?

synapse are the microscopic gapes between the neurons where helps in passing of the chemicals from one neuron to other. A small amont of chemical substance is released from one neuron into the synapse and this chem. substance changes to electrical impluses and enters the dentrites of the other neuron.

What happens at the synapse between two neuron?

At the synapse, the electrical impulse between the two neutrons at synapse set of chain chemical reactions which create a chemical impulse at the synapse.

A synapse between an axon terminal and a neuron cell body is called what?

Axosomatic
