What do slt and XL refer to?
XL refers to the type of body it is. For example, the Yukon and the Yukon XL (the XL is the larger body is all. LT refers to the standard trim level which frequently includes cloth seats and basic stuff. SLT refers to a trim level which frequently includes leather and more features, power everything, etc. The only other trim level higher than the LT and SLT is the DENALI(Yes a Trim Level). Generally includes everything that the SLT has plus a DVD system generally, a navagation system sometimes and a larger engine with AWD(All Wheel Drive). All things considered a real gas eater that you can't switch to 2 Wheel Drive when you don't need 4 Wheel Drive.
