The flat sheets we sell for king sized beds are 275 x 275cm, this is quite a generous size as they will also fit a Super king size bed. I believe that the standard size for a UK king flat sheet is approx 260 x 270cm, though it does vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

The size of bedding may depend on the type of king size bed you have. For a regular king bed, the fitted sheet will be wider and shorter than one for a California king, but the flat sheet and comforter will generally be the same size.
It depends. If the twin mattresses are XL, then you should be able use a standard King sheets. If the twin mattresses are standard length, then the bed will be shorter than your usual King bed. In that case you could use 2 flat King sheets - tucking in the bottom sheet all the way around (in place of a fitted sheet). Or, you could use 2 twin fitted sheets with a flat king sheet for over top. I'm not sure how sucessful it would be to use a king fitted sheet as it would be too long.
The main reason that king sheet sets are more expensive than queen sheet sets is because of the size. King sheet sets are bigger, and is made of more material than the queen sheet sets. It make sense that the king sized sets are more expensive.
King size water beds are 72 inches wide by 84 inches long. There are also California King sheets, but I don't know that size.
