If the raindrop is falling at a constant speed, then it has reached terminal velocity. This happens when the downward force (due to gravity) is the same as the upward force due to friction. As such the net force acting on the rain drop is 0.

What offsets an action force?

A force of equal magnitude, acting in the opposite direction.

What is an opposite vector?

It is a vector with the same magnitude (size) but acting in the opposite direction.

What is the net force on an object with constant velocity?

If the object is moving in a straight line, then the net force on it is zero. If the object is not moving in a straight path, then there is some non-zero net force acting on it even if its speed is constant. We don't have enough information to describe the magnitude or direction of the force.

An object that has the same speed but changes direction is?

... experiencing vector acceleration, under the influence of a net force acting perpendicular to its direction of motion.

Are 2 forces going in the same direction balanced?

No, they are not. The forces are balanced only when forces of equal magnitude are acting in the opposite direction.

What is physical interpretation of vector space?

A vector has two properties: magnitude and direction. The representation of a vector is an arrow. The tip of the arrow points to the direction the vector is acting. The length of the arrow represents the magnitude.

What is the net force acting on a falling object when it reaches terminal velocity?

An object falling at terminal velocity is moving at constant speed (that's what terminal velocity means) and we will assume it is not changing direction (i.e. it is falling straight down; in reality it is more likely to be bobbing and weaving on the wind.) Constant speed and direction is another way of saying constant velocity. when an object is acted upon by a net force, it's velocity changes. So, since we know that the velocity is not changing, there is no force.

What is the upwars force acting on an object?

The upward force acting on an object is the normal force. It is equal in magnitude, but opposite in direction to the object's weight.

Are the forces acting on the object balanced?

yes, they can balanced if they r in opposite direction n have same magnitude.....

Can the resultant of 3 vectors be 0?

Yes. A simple case would be a vector 2a acting at a point in one direction and two vectors, each of magnitude a, acting at the same point in the opposite direction.

What is net torque?

Net torque is the magnitude and direction of torque that is left over when you add up the torques that are acting on an object.
