1. NTFS file system needs minimum space overhead of 400 MB . So , it cannot
be put in small storage devices like a floppy disk ( 1.44 MB ). Whereas Linux native file system EXT2 can be put in a floppy disk . All permission attributes also
can be used for files in such a system.

∙ 13y agoFAT32 is an older format, it doesn't support big files. It is however more easy to recover data from a broken FAT32 partition , than from broken NTFS, so usually the C:// partition, where windows and the program files is should be FAT32, in order to be easily recoverable, and the other partitions should be NTFS, so you can store large files like movies on them.
