  1. Take HIGHWAY 2 (Queen Elizabeth II Highway) SOUTH from Edmonton to TRANS-Canada HIGHWAY 1 WEST to BANFF via HIGHWAY 201 (STONEY TRAIL NW) to bypass CALGARY.
  2. Take the TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY 1 WEST to B.C. HIGHWAY 15 (176th St) to CLOVERDALE and the U.S.A. BORDER, off EXIT 53 in B.C. (SECOND RIGHT), via B.C. HIGHWAY 5.
  3. Take HIGHWAY 15 SOUTH to the U.S.A. BORDER to I-5 via either B.C. HIGHWAY 15 to PACIFIC X-ING or via B.C. HIGHWAY 99 to PEACE ARCH. YOUR CHOICE. (There will be an electronic info sign telling you which border has longer delays. Follow signs to the border x-ing with the shortest delays.)
  4. Cross the BORDER from DOUGLAS, B.C. CANADA into BLAINE, WASHINGTON, U.S.A. via either the PEACE ARCH X-ING or the PACIFIC HIGHWAY X-ING.
  5. From there, continue on I-5 SOUTH to Tacoma via I-405 SOUTH (EXIT 182 off I-5) to bypass SEATTLE. To get to CENTRAL TACOMA, take I-705 NORTH (EXIT 133 off I-5).
