385 miles taking this route:

First of all, you will start off on either: M1 or M40.

If you are on M1, take M1 to The NORTH to M6 to The NORTH WEST to BIRMINGHAM @ J19. Then you will take M6 to The NORTH WEST to M6 TOLL @ J3A.

Or if you are coming from M40, take M40 BIRMINGHAM, from London, to M42(N) (to M6 to The NORTH) @ J3A outside of Birmingham, and then take M42 (relatively briefly) to M6 TOLL.

  1. Then, once you are on M6 TOLL, take M6 TOLL, around BIRMINGHAM, back to M6 NORTH.
  2. From there, continue on M6, past Birmingham, to Scotland, where the motorway becomes A74(M).
  3. Take A74(M) & M74 to MOTHERWELL @ J6 (A723).
