Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic has its own currency which is the Czech Koruna. So the euro is not the official currency, though some businesses in Prague might accept it, because they would have many tourists and customers from countries that do use it.

No. The main currency of the Czech Republic is the koruna, however some major stores will accept Euros, and it's also fairly common for accommodation providers to quote the price in Euros.

Currency used in Czech Republic is Czech crown - CZK. Right now is according to the national bank 1 euro = 26 CZK, 1 USD = 19 CZK

1 USD is 16 CZK this summer, it's very bad when seeing it at 1 USD equal 40 CZK in 2002.

Maybe in some main tourist spots in Prague, there are however many places where you can exchange your money to local currency (CZK, not EUR).
