Down draft and side draft
Carb. I believe it is a down-draft carburetor, but am currently scouring the internet to find out.
Currently the largest carburetor that Weber sells is the 55DCO SP. It has a retail price in the $450.00 range and is a two barrel side draft compatible carburetor.

air in the booth enters from the ceiling and exits thru the floor ( the draft is moving down in a side draft booth air would exit thru the walls
the float is stuck open or needs adjusted down.
On my 49cc scooter engine the carburetor is found on the engine. The engine is broken down into 3 parts, the part to the left (looking at it) where the air filter is is right next to the carburetor.
In late 1987 chevy went to fuel injection on ALL there engines. From 1987 down will have a carburetor.
Almost All engines with a carburetor have a float valve. The exception is a carburetor Built by Tillotson, horrible things but they worked upside down.
Rising and sinking air is called up draft and down draft, respectively.
