An excellent way to learn a language is to make your own flash cards or buy a set of flash cards. Making your own is probably better since cards you buy from the store may not have all of the appropriate vocabulary and verbs available. The great thing about flash cards is that you can study alone or with the help of someone else.
If there is any vocabulary in the chapter or chapters that you are unfamiliar with, then familiarize yourself with all words. (i.e know how to spell all nouns and verbs)
Make sure you know all the conjugations of the verbs that you will see on the test. (Again, flash cards are very helpful.) You may also want to pick up the latest copy of 501 spanish Verbs (an extremely useful tool).
Be prepared to answer any oral questions that may be asked.
Read any and all written material and make sure that you know what your teacher expects.
CFC12-Another way to do it is to do this: * First make a flashcard{for example: learning "hola"(hello)} * Write "hola" on one side and "hello" on the other * First say the word out loud * Then listen to someone else saying "hello" * Next look at a picture doing the word{Someone saying "hello" or waving a greeting} * Lastly say "hola" again I hope this technique helps!
Practicing it with a friend and having fun with it!
One thing I do with my friend is make cheesy jokes or randomly insert Spanish words in my normal speech.
For example:
Me: Could you hand me el queso (cheese)?
Friend: Sí.
Me: Mil gracias. Eres muy bella, mi amigo. (Many thanks. You're very beautiful, my friend)
Friend: Estás bien? (Are you OK?)
Me: No.
Practising with a friend will help but if you are really, really serious about learning a language it is generally thought that the most effective way of learning is through Immersion. You learn at a much faster rate as well as picking local slang and accents. It´s also much more fun. Tip courtesy of http://www.expanish.com
I favour the learning online method in the absence of being able to mix with the Spanish locals, which is probably the best way for a lot of people.
If I was you I would check out the current offerings online as most of them now offer some sort of free access, it is important that you use the learning method that suits you best.
Worth noting that Spanish is one of the easier languages to learn.
To answer this, you need to know who is doing the studying. In Spanish, the verb "to be" changes for each "person".
If you are talking about present action, as in "He is studying for the Spanish test", then you can use the progressive tense. "Él está estudiando para el examen de español."
Practice with a friend / relative/ or someone fluent in spanish.
for a spanish SPEAKING test, i would recommend to practice, practice, and oh yeah...did I say practice?!
Well you could do what I am going and do a spanish imersion school (1/2 ur classes r in spanish and 1/2 r in english) or u could use those roseta stone things or take classes
The only legitimate way to pass any exam is through appropriate study of the subject matter.
Watch spanish movies/television, practice conversation, DON'T BE AFRAID TO TALK. :)

The best way to learn about Spanish culture and history, the recommended way is to visit a museum in Madrid. If that's not possible, then local libraries will have books on this subject. The Internet is also a good way to study Spanish history and culture.
