period of revolution = T

T = 2. pi. r / w

...............where r is radius and w is angular velocity

as v = w.r..................................(v is linear velocity).

w = v/r

T = 2.pi.r / (v/r)

T = 2.pi.r^2/v

r^2 = T.v / 2.pi

so r is proportional to square root of T

so if r is increased by 'n' times, T increases by sqrt(n) times.

What agents would cause a change in centripetal acceleration?

Centripetal Acceleration is the ratio of the square of the velocity and radius ac=v2/r So if we change the velocity of the circulating object or change the radius of the revolution, centripetal acceleration is changed

What makes the atomic radius change along a period in the periodic table?

More protons in the nucleus pull the electrons in, making the atomic radius smaller.

How does ionic radius change as you move down and across the periodic table?

Ionic radius (or radii) increases as you move down a group and across a period.

What make the atomic radius change along the periodic in periodic table?

Along a period, nuclear charge increases. hence, atomic radius decreases.

In general howe dose atomic radius change across a period from letf to right?

it decreases

Why would blood vessel radius have a larger effect on the body than vessel length?

A blood vessel's radius has a larger effect on the body than the vessels length because more blood can flow through a larger blood vessel. A change in the radius will have more of a affect.

How does the atomic radius change from the left to the right horizontal row in the periodic table?

from left to right the atomic radius decreases as the electrons that get added are added in the same shell as they are in the same period. the shielding effect remains constant but the proton number increases which inturn increases the effective nuclear pull on the electrons bringing the electrons closer to the nuclei hence decreasing the radius of the atom

How could adjust the afferent or efferent radius to compensate for the effect of reduced blood pressure on glomerular filtration rate?

increase afferent radius or decrease efferent radius depending on the degree of change in blood pressure

How does the atomic raduis change across a period of the periodic table?

Atomic radius usually decreases from left to right across a period of the periodic table.

If the radius of earth be halved what will be the effect on time period?

The time period is given by the expression T = 2 pi R / vR-the radius of the earth and v- the speed with which the equatorial part moves.Let us assume the speed to be the same. So as radius R is reduced to half of its value ie R/2 then the time period too is reduced to half. ie T/2

Why does argon have the smallest atomic radius in period 3?

Argon doesnt have the smallest atomic radius, its chlorine.Argon has the largest atomic radius in period 3.
