If you really want to get technical, you could include skin. The endocrine system is the body's hormone system. Hormones are substances produced in one part of the body and affect organs in another part of the body. Now the skin produces vitamin D after exposure to UV light. Vitamin D also affects bones, metabolism, and the immune system.
