The enviorment for hermit crabs should be in a nice sized cage with about 5-8 centimeters of gravel (sand). It should have a little shelter like a mini hut or somthing. You have to place at least two bigger emtpy shells in it. Dont be alarmed if it changes its shell every two days or so.You should have a little bowl of water so it could bathe itself every once in a while.You should mist the cage twice a day with water.The food should be regular hermit crab food. if the hermit crab is a baby MASH up the food because its claws might be to little to handle it.The hermit crab can also eat fresh fruit such as grapes apples and berrys it can also have peanut butter but only a table spoon should be fine.Hermit Crabs live up to twenty years if you treat them correctly.
