This is not possible unless the equator is near this area. All hot places in Earth are all close to the equator. The only logical explanation would be if there is an imaginary 2nd equator floating around that humanity has not yet discovered yet.
Urban or metropolitan, as opposed to rural.
The high solar intensity at equatorial latitudes causes intense heating at the equator, which produces powerful convection currents called Prevailing Winds. The Doldrums are where the prevailing winds at the Equator die.
I don't know but could we have an answer soon because I need it for a project!! Thank you! The equator has an equatorial climate because of the angle to the sun. It is only found 5 degrees north or south to the equator. An equatorial climate is where it is hot and wet all year round, this provides the most luxuriant vegetation found in the world. Annual rainfall averages out at about 2000 mm per year. Tropical rainforest are found in the equatorial climate, and 1,000 types of trees are found there too. Hope this is good enough :) good luck with the project
The area around the equator where trade winds meet are called
equatorial area
The equatorial region is the area around the equator between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The countries in this region include Colombia, Gabon, Ecuador, Brazil, Congo, and the Dementia Republic of Congo.

The doldrums is an area near the Equator (or near the poles, but the Equatorial doldrums is more well known) where there are times of calm where no winds blow. It is not a wilderness area, though...
yes most of them are built like that
The population of Equatorial Guinea is 633,441.
The equator is a line, so it has zero area.

No. The polar circumference of the Earth is smaller than the equatorial circumference by about 41 miles or about 67 km. The Earth is a slightly "oblate spheroid" meaning it is slightly flattened (0.336%) at the poles, and bulging at the equator, due to its spin. The equatorial circumference of the Earth is about 40,075 kilometers (24,901 miles). The polar circumference of the Earth is about 40,008 kilometers (24,860 miles).
