It stands for Anti-Vibration. I have two Stihl saws made in the 80's (an 015AV and an 034AVSuper). The 034 replaced a really old 041 without the AV, so I can attest that it really makes using the saws a lot more comfortable if you plan on using it for more than an hour or so at once. But then again, all the new Stihl saws have the AV now :o)
ow do you reload a stihl weedeater need answer ASAP
The Stihl Ms261 is the replacement of the Stihl Ms260. The 260 has been on the market for many years and became outdated. Most important differences are the new designed so-called "2-mix" engine that is more fuel-efficient and evironmental friendly, and the better AV system on the 261. The new 261 is a bit more powerfull but due to the new av-system in which the engine is isolated from the handles also a bit heavier.
