Train probably. Car or taxi - M8 is the main route and is very busy at times. Bus - all the stops on the way... Glasgow Central travels to Edinburgh but it takes a lot longer than the route from Glasgow Queen Street.

You could get a train to Glasgow and from there, get a shuttle bus to Glasgow Airport, which is quite close to the city.ANS 2 - Actually the quickest way by far is to simply drive from Edinburgh to Glasgow Airport along the M8 -about an hour.

Glasgow International Airport does not have a train station. To make this journey you would have to travel into Glasgow City Centre, the easiest way to do this would be to take the shuttle bus to Buchanan Bus Station. From Buchanan Bus Station, it is around a ten minute walk to Queen Street Station where a train to Edinburgh will take around an hour, depending on the route.
If you want to go to cornwall, you can either take a flybe plane from Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen to Exerter OR you can fly from Edinburgh straight to Newquay. Either way gets you from Scotland to Cornwall. Hope this information helps.
