yes there is 2 different power cords for the regular xbox and the xbox 360. So you will have to go buy a 360 power cord.
No the scart for the 360 is completely different and the power needs a power box and the connection is similar to the power on a PC
The older models of the Xbox 360 have a different power supply to the Xbox 360 S. You cannot get a power supply which will work on both consoles, therefore you will need to buy whatever power supply your console needs.
The sync button on the console is right next to the memory unit b slot on the front of the xbox 360. The sync button a 360 controller is on the top between the two bumper buttons.

It makes no difference what position the unit is in. It uses the same power either way.
Blocks are the big power blocks used to power the Xbox.
I have two xbox 360 unit at home. How do you stop them for coming on at the same time?
I think it is. You can also save on a hard drive, old or new. HOWEVER, I have an xbox game but don't a memory unit. To find out, you need a xbox 360 memory unit and an xbox game, but i don't think they are available now, but i hope a memory unit is available.
Any Xbox 360 console that has some for of memory unit, whether its internal or external, can use Xbox live.
Yes, simply connect the memory unit to the new Xbox and sign in with the account.

No, the Xbox 360's HDD works like a super large memory unit.
While the Xbox is turned off, plug the power supply into the xbox first. Then plug it into the wall and it should be orange. Turn on the xbox and then the light will change to green.
No.
If you can not plug the PS3 into the power how do you think you can play it, a PS3 needs power to work
