I only found out that photoaugliaphobia is the fear of glaring lights and photophobia is the normal fear of light. Perhaps the flash light is what causing this people to fear having their photo taken? *shrugs*

Not exactly.

While there seems to be no technically correct psychological term for the fear of being photographed, I will coin and use in my writings a more elegant term; which makes double use of the second "ph" in photograph and first in phobia. . .

Photophobia? The fear of being seen in or having photographs taken.

Edited: The person who wrote "Photophobia" is wrong. Photophobia is the fear of light. There is no exact word for the fear of pictures/photos yet.
