It is a horrible feeling and an experience you would not want to consider again. The longer you have been with your partner the more it hurts. My sister was with her boyfriend for 16 month and was crying and would not speak to no one for days and my friend was going out wuth someone for 3 week but she really liked him and couldn't bare the emotional pain.
However when you manage to fall in love again you forget about your past and you are happy again.
