Axons send information away from a cell body.
A is for the axon, which is a long, thin extension of a neuron that carries impulses away from the cell body towards other neurons or target cells.
The axon carries information from one neuron to another while the dendrites of a neuron receive information from other neurons
The part of the neuron that receives the majority of inputs is the dendritic tree. In most neurons its appearance is very similar to what a tree would look like in Autumn with no leaves. The part that carries information away and toward the dendrites of other cells is called the axon. There is only one axon per neuron and they can vary quite considerably in their length.
Efferent neurons (sometimes called motor neurons) transmit signals from the CNS to the effector cells.
Functionally, neurons or nerve cells are classified into three types,1. Sensory or afferent neuron- a neuron that carries signals towards brain.2. Motor or efferent neuron- a neuron that carries signals away from brain.3. Inter-neuron which is present in gray matter of spinal cord and convert sensory signals into appropriate motor signals during spinal reflex.

The axon.
The axons.
A neuron transmits signals from its cell body, where the nucleus is located, to other neurons or target cells through its axon. The axon carries the electrical impulses away from the cell body towards the synapse, where communication with other cells occurs.
Afferent neurons carry information to the CNS, and efferent neuron carries it away.
There are actually 3 parts to a neuron. The dendrites are tree branch like projections that receive nerve impulses from another neuron, the cell body that contains the nucleus, and the axon, a long fiber that carries the nerve impulse away from the cell body to the next neuron.

Motorneurons
The axon of the neurone carries the impulse away from the cell body. The axon of the neurone carries the impulse away from the cell body.
The part of the neuron that carries impulses towards the cell body is called the dendrite.
Fibres which carry impulses towards the cell body of a neuron are called dendrites. The axon is the fibre which carries impulses away from the cell body of a neuron.
