Apparently, Valkyrie worries about her dream and doesn't want to be Darquesse so she tries to go and 'seal her fate' (A job made more difficult by the fact that she doesn't tell Skulduggery as she is too scared by what he will think)
And all those remnants escape and start trying to get to Valkyrie as she is there Messiah and also nobody thinks they can trust one another as they are too scared in case a remnant has taken over one another and they can't know!
I also read somewhere that Skulduggery finds out China's secret about how she led Skulduggery's family into a trap and tries to hunt her down and kill her
I also read that Valkyrie's reflection turns evil- which I thought was a really great idea but then I read other reviews and they don't mention anything about that happening so I was really disappointed :(
