It could have, Just count the spark plugs. 4 plugs= 4 cylinder 6 plugs= 6 cylinder 8 plugs= 8 cylinder

The book says to gap them @ 0.32.
ngk plugs are .31 to .35
if you have 4 cylinder , 4 plugs if you have 6 cylinder , 6 plugs
It always has the same number of spark plugs as it has cylinders. If it a 6 cylinder it has 6 plugs. If it's an 8 cylinder it has 8 plugs. If it's a 4 cylinder it has 4 plugs. Toyota doesn't make a 4 cylinder 4Runner.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.

Usually the cylinder head holds the spark plugs.
1 temp sensor is under the spark plugs by the dipstick, cylinder head temp 1 temp sensor is in the thermostat housing 1 temp switch is beside the temp sensor in the thermostat housing
