Depending on the style cap you have (ie. flat cap with plug wires coming from both sides) then the cap should be marked. While looking at the cap from the front the right side from front to back is cylinders 3,1,5 and the left side is 2,4,6, and coil. The cylinders are numbered 1,3,5 on the right and 2,4,6 on the left while looking at it from the front. The actual firing order is 1,6,5,4,3,2.
