The firing order of an 85 Pontiac Sun Bird is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The number 1 cylinder is on the front left as you face the car.
The firing order should be 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.
Gonna need to know which engine you have in there.
Firign order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 Rotor turns clockwise.
On intake manifold.
1 - 3 - 4 - 2 The distributor rotor turns CLOCKWISE
Judging on what I found online, 302 V8 made between 82-85, High Output, Non-Roller Cam, the firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8.
Gm does not use inertia switches.

Watch carefully, I'm gonna make myslef look stupid. For many moons, the 318 firing order has been 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. The change in firing order may have happened AFTER '85, I'm not sure. A little carb cleaner and patience will find the order for you on the intake manifold.
According to my Alldata system maintenance charts, the 85 Corvette OD manual trans uses Dexron IIE automatic trans fluid. HTH
go to autozone.com and you can download manuals for most of the truck. it will tell you the firing order. I have an 85 4 banger and it is 1-3-4-2. it should be the same. The cylinder sequence is 1-2-3-4. the # 1 is closest to the front of the truck.
If the 85 is a similar bodystyle to the 86, yes.
