describe the possible effect of not getting enough sunlight each day
Since the sun only shines on one side of the Earth at a time, one half of the Earth is in darkness and the other half in sunlight. It is only as the sun rotates on it's axis that different areas of the Earth experience night and day. A country never gets sunlight "first", as the night and day around the Earth is constantly changing.
Earth gets 24 hours of sunlight each day. There is always 50% of the Earth illuminated by the sun.
antartica because the wind currents carry the sun to antartica
There is no country that does not get sunlight. All countries on Earth receive sunlight at some point during the day, although the amount of sunlight may vary depending on their location and time of year.
The first town in the world to be touched by the sunrise each day is possibly in the easternmost region of Russia, close to the Bering Strait, such as the town of Kamchatka or Chukotka. Due to the Earth's rotation, these areas are among the first to experience daylight.
kiribati (christmas island) they're 1hr ahead of New Zealand
That is a difficult question.Heres why: There is no first sunrise. There never was. Even in the first day it was not a first sunrise. The Earth is so old that the first day started when it was no bigger than that dust mite family crawling up your arm! (dust mites are microscopic little things, google 'em) The first country to get the sunrise is England, France, could be anyone. We don't know. Great question by the way.
