has error code 41, cannot locate device
usually can be fixed by connecting your flux capacitor to the ps/2 port instead of the mouse and it will turn back time to the point where your floppy did work... my question is though, why are you still using a floppy and why would you want to fix it?
The first indication of a problem with drive assignments could be error messages when accessing files, programs not launching, or drives not appearing in file explorer. Other signs include being unable to save files to a specific drive, or seeing conflicting drive letter assignments.
Mislabeling. Drive letter is not visible, drive letter is changed to question mark, or partition properties or label are not accurate.
The "A:" drive is the first floppy disk drive.
The floppy disc drive was invented at IBM in 1967. It used 8" floppy discs. The first floppy disc drive in an IBM personal computer appeared in 1981. By this time the original 8" floppy disc had been replace by a 5.25" disc.
The Mac
In Windows, Drive C: is the first hard drive. On the PC compatibles (DOS then Windows, which was a program running under DOS), drive A: was reserved for the first floppy disk drive and B: for the second floppy disk drive. Drive C: was reserved for the first hard drive. Many computers don't even have floppy drives anymore, but the first hard drive is still labeled C:
Floppy drive was the first storage with portable data storage capacity.. However the data storing capacity of floppy drive is not enough but in early days it helped a lot..

Normally the second removable drive, A = first removable or floppy drive, if a second floppy drive is installed it is drive B. First hard disk is Drive C, second Hard disk is Drive D, etc. You can also map the drive letters to the virtual network connections, so that Drive P could be used as a network connection.
