Prewritting
The type of writing that explains a process is known as a how-to essay. This essay explains how to accomplish a task or process in chronological order, and explicit detail.

The writing process in sequential order is: Brainstorm Create an outline. Write the essay. Revise globally. Get feedback and revise again.
You want to make sure you don't put a ton of actual content about your project. It's called a process paper; it's about the process you took to go through your project (or whatever you're doing)

Writing a rough draft
The first step when assembling a writing plan for an essay is to clearly understand the essay prompt and identify the main topic or argument. Once you have a clear understanding of what is being asked, you should then brainstorm ideas, research, and outline your main points before starting the writing process.
In order to state which lists the different steps of the writing process in the correct order the list would have to be provided. There are five steps to the writing process. These steps, in order, are pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing.
