Apollo 11
The Apollo Command Module spacecraft was designed and built by North American aviation to transport 24 American astronauts to the moon between 1968 and 1972. Mated to a Lunar Module built by the Grumman company it enabled 12 humans to walk on the moon between 1969 and 1972.
The astronauts were collecting moon rocks and taking pictures as well.
During flight time, astronauts perform various tasks such as conducting experiments, operating spacecraft systems, communicating with mission control, exercising to combat muscle atrophy, and maintaining the spacecraft. They also spend time eating, sleeping, and taking care of personal hygiene.
Where primary occupation is defined as work that involves taking raw material from the environment, no, astronauts are not doing a primary occupation.
The lunar module engine was a rocket engine used to land and take off from the moon during NASA's Apollo missions. It was called the Descent Propulsion System (DPS) for landing, and the Ascent Propulsion System (APS) for taking off from the lunar surface. These engines were crucial for the success of the moon landings.

The space shuttle was a spacecraft used by NASA for taking astronauts into space, deploying satellites, and conducting scientific experiments in microgravity. It could also carry large payloads to and from space. The space shuttle program was retired in 2011.
The TV camera that televised the first step off the ladder onto the Moon was mounted on the side of the spacecraft. The astronauts themselves took the pictures, with the camera mounted on their chest. They had no viewfinder, so all the astronauts had between 3 to six years practice taking pics in this fashion on Earth. There was a remote controllable camera on the Rover vehicle. This was used to televise the LM takeoff. The operator, on Earth, knew exactly when the LM was taking off and the direction it would be traveling, as well as exactly how long it would take his orders to reach the Rover camera.
You can get from here to there taking a stagecoach or using side streets. You also can get there travelling by snowmobile or spacecraft.
by not going to the moon at all and taking the pictures somewhere else
