It depends. First, I started puberty at age 11 and the first thing happen was my genitals got developed, and after a short time I started masturbating. But it really depends which comes first, some start to have facial hair, and some don't.

∙ 14y agoFor girls, the main event is having to have periods. It is quite shocking at first when you see that blood is coming from inside your body. For boys, I guess it's that their body will grow into a more manly shape. (more muscle!)

∙ 14y agoDuring puberty for a girl, your breasts will grow bigger (they will be sore), you will get hips and you will get the ability to gain weight much faster. you will also grow pubic hair around the genitile area and under your armpits. (your voice will mature) During puberty for a boy, his penus will grow bigger, he will get pubic hair around his genitles, and he will get hair under his armpits. His voice will mature to the point of sounding like a grown man. (much deeper, and fuller)

All the physical changes that you can see are called secondary sexual characteristics. These changes, in males, include... lengthening and thickening of the penis, enlargement of the testes, growth of hair in the pubic area and armpits, growth of facial and chest hair, lowering of the voice and also increases in height and weight. For females the changes include growth of pubic hair and growth of breasts.
