Thrust is the force that propels a rocket or spacecraft and is measured in pounds, kilograms or Newtons.
The lift force is the force acting against the aircraft's weight. For straight and level flight, lift acts in the upward vertical direction and the weight of the aircraft acts in the downward vertical direction. For level flight, lift = weight.

The opposite "force" from gravity would be anti-gravity, which is not an observed physical force. The opposition to gravity is normally by a reactive or repulsive force that overcomes gravity. The opposite of experiencing gravity is experiencing "weightlessness" (which is freefall within a gravitational influence, such as in an orbiting spacecraft or inside a falling aircraft or vehicle).
If the aircraft is coming into land then the hinged part of the wing called Flaps are lowered to increase the amount of Drag over the wings. If you think of drag as an air-born form of braking then Flaps down means the aircraft the aircraft slows but increases the maneuverability the pilot has over the aircraft. If the aircraft is on the ground then wheel brakes are very useful
As of 2000 it is 7'0 for standard aircraft
An airman is a male aircraft pilot, or a member of an air force.
The term 'cockpit' refers to the compartment in a vehicle provided for the driver or pilot to control its operation. Such a compartment can be in a racecar, aircraft or even a spacecraft.
Pilot the spacecraft.
Each control surface on an aircraft has a hinge of some sort. By moving the control, there is an aerodynamic moment about the hinge. The pilot must provide the moment (force)to counter that hinge moment. The feedback of this required force to the pilot is an additional cue to help him to fly the aircraft.
A pilot that scores a least five enemy aircraft kills.
Aircraft fly through air and spacecraft fly in space.
Roberta Bondar was the First North American woman to pilot a spacecraft
The cockpit is where the pilot controls the aircraft.
It is possible if a Air Force pilot is attached to a naval unit for some reason, but highly unlikely. The pilots that serve on aircraft carriers are Navy and Marine pilots.
Scott TurnerANS 2 - It may not always be the same pilot. Air Force One is NOT always the same aircraft, it's just the code name given to whichever aircraft the President is travelling in.
A spacecraft is any man made object capable of reaching space. An aircraft is any man made object capable of flight.
