That is a trade secret. Not even those who work at the bottling plants know what this is ... it is only known to two people, and I doubt that either of them will reveal this to anyone.

However, the very basic ingredients that make up a cola are cinnamon and vanilla. Some may even include hints of citrus (such as Pepsi) or clove (Coca-Cola).

The true formula is a closely guarded secret and only known by top executives at the Coca Cola company.

Ingredients on the coke can state that the soda contains: sugar or high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, caffeine, phosphoric acid, coca extract, kola nut extract, lime extract, vanilla and glycerin. There are also trace flavorings such as orange, lime and lemon and spices such as nutmeg.
