In Excel how do you add 50 to a number in each cell?

If you wanted to just change the original cells and add 50 to them, then first type 50 into a blank cell. Then copy it. Then select the cells you want to add 50 to. Go to Paste Special and pick the Add option. 50 will be added to all the selected cells, replacing their original values with that value plus 50. That is the simplest way.Another way to add a number to the value in each cell of a column is to insert another column. If your original values are in C2:C26 you can enter the following formula in D2 (=C2+50), then copy the formula to D3:D26.To clean up the worksheet, you have a couple of options:Hide column C and view the numbers in column D.Copy column D, then paste values into column C. This will change the values of column C to the +50 values, and also increase column D by an additional +50. When you are satisfied with your numbers in column C, delete column D and you will be back where you started, except your values in column C will be +50 from the original values.

Explain the difference between a relative and an abosolute cell reference How can they be distribute when looking at a spreadsheet?

A formula containing a relative cell address looks to different cells based on a relative position to the cell containing the formula. So, if you had a formula in cell B1 which included the information from relative cell address A1, that formula, when copied to another cell will always look for the information in the cell directly to it's left on the same row. Copy that formula to B2 and the formula will use the information from A2...copy the formula to T64 and the formula will use S64. A formula containing an absolute cell address will always look to the exact same cell regardless of where you copy the formula. So if the formula in B1 contained absolute cell address A1, that formula will always look to A1, whether you copy it to B2 or T64. You can also have an address which is part relative and part absolute - so a formula will always look to a specific row but different columns (if the row is absolute and the column is relative), or the same column but different rows (if the column is absolute and the row is relative). So, if you wanted to use information contained along row 2 of each column, but the formula might be on different rows in different columns, you could make the row absolute and the column relative. so the formula in A7 would use A2, the same formula in B6 would use B2, the same formula in C26 would use C2.

Where can I find cool math games for kids?

Many toy stores offer great math games for kids. Scholar's Choice in Canada has a great variety, for example. Toys-R-Us has a fairly good educational section as well. Any teacher supply store usually carry exciting games. You should check out the selection at http://www.schoolsupplystore.com/Mathematics-C26.aspx.

How we can convert 396 into binary number in mathematical form?

To convert any number from one base to another base, iteratively divide by the second base, using the rules of arithmetic for the first base, and write down the remainders in reverse order, until the quotient is zero. In this example, converting 39610 into 1100011002, the process is as follows...396 / 2 = 198 remainder 0198 / 2 = 099 remainder 0 (Keeping the leading zeros to align the columns.)099 / 2 = 049 remainder 1049 / 2 = 024 remainder 1024 / 2 = 012 remainder 0012 / 2 = 006 remainder 0006 / 2 = 003 remainder 0003 / 2 = 001 remainder 1001 / 2 = 000 remainder 1 (Stopping because the quotient is now zero.)Look at the remainders above in reverse order, and you will see 110001100.In mathematical form, it is far more complex. You need to solve for the coefficients of a polynomial equation of variable degree, in this case...A28 + B27 + C26 + D25 +E24 + F23 +G22 + H21 +I20 = 396... limiting the values of the coefficients to the valid integers in the base, 0 and 1, and then writing the coefficients in a string, ABCDEFGHI, giving 110001100.The diophantine solution of this degree of polynomial equation seems very hard, by any other method than iteration. If someone has a better method, other than the first method stated above, please feel free to enhance this answer.
