312-315 MHz in key 134.2 kHz in car
"FOBIK" stands for "Frequency Operated Button Integrated Key." It refers to a type of key fob used in Chrysler vehicles that can remotely start the car and perform other functions.
Just like a garage door opener or a remote on the TV. Each car is set to a certain radio frequency for the controller that powers the locks and alarm and starter in some cars. When you push the button on the key pad it sends a signal to your car telling it to lock or unlock or start the car from a distance. Each car has its own frequency so that it will not open anyone else's car.
To change the frequency on a radio controller car, you change the crystal in the transmitter and receiver.
433.925mhz
It's frequency reduces as the car gets further away.
The remote key uses a radio signal to start the car. This means something else can be on that frequency and causing it to start. Could be something in the system itself.
No the other key will not operate the door when another remote key is already in the car.Same key has to be used to operate the doors. Edit(razor512): If a car comes with 2 remotes for the alarm and the door locks, then both can work at the same time, even if one of them is inside of the car. The area where things get tricky is if the remote for 1 car is working on another car. In which case, the factory used the same code on more than 1 car, or someone used a radio monitor able to listen at the frequency that the remote runs on. The signal sent out by the remote is then recorded and replayed in order to spoof the remote. (this is why it is not the best choice to get remote starters, someone monitoring the frequency range can pickup the door unlock signal as well as the remote start signal, then replay it in order to do malicious things to the car (though this should be rare since most criminals are idiots)
It cant be done, with todays cell phone networks, its not possible to transimit "radio frequency" over the phone like that.
the car key is in the rear light that is cracked
As it has a higher frequency than a car horn.. Pitch depends upon frequency....
If the Car didn't start with the key turning the ignition then the car was "hotwired" to turn the Car on.If the key did not start the car, how was it started.
