About 2 grand (CDN) for a front and rear strut replacement.Too much for me.
There is one on the front passenger side and a torque strut on the front. The torque strut acts like a motor mount.
in the engine bay. Passenger side. Near the strut tower.
Well it wont necessarily be a bad thing to change one but if i were you i would change both so that way you dont have to change the other one later.

passenger side of firewall, near strut mount under the platic clip that reads FWD.
Front: Strut to body: 29-40 ft. lbs. Front: Strut to knuckle: 84-98 ft. lb.s Rear: Strut to body: 12-14 ft. lb.s Rear: strut to knuckle: 65-80 ft. lb.s
Its on the left hand side of the the car, and in the engine compartment. Located right next to the strut tower! Two clamps and a latch and its done!
FRONT STRUT: Damper Shaft Nut >52 Ft-lbs, Strut Upper Mounting Nuts >24 Ft-lbs, Strut to Steering Knuckle Nuts >96 Ft-lbs; REAR STRUT: Damper Shaft Nut >55 Ft-lbs, Strut Upper Mounting Nuts >33 Ft-lbs, Strut to Rear Knuckle Nuts >89 Ft-lbs.....

The hub nut is 137 ft lbs......... The two lower bolts and nuts that the strut mounts to wheel assembly is 167ft lbs......... Dont over torque that hub nut you will have problems.......................
It does not have a carburetor as the engine is fuel injected. It does however have a fuel filter which is located under the hood, drivers side, mounted on the front side of the strut tower.
