I have a 1983 IT175 Yamaha and the fuel mix is recommended by Yamaha at 28 to 32: 1 I use 30:1 ratio. Hope this helps
6.8:1
the fuel petcock. Look under the tank on the left hand side.
Good quality two stroke oil can be run at 32:1. If you are not sure of quality run the mixture at 20:1 which is rich but very safe. You may have some spark plug fouling at slow speeds.
MX 175 F 1979 = Start Engine#: 3M2-000101 MX 175 G 1980 = Start Engine#: 3M2-100101
This engine should have a VRO pump and if it has been bypassed the mixture is 50:1
there is no ratio they are oil injected there is no ratio they are oil injected
No, the RT 175 is a 2 stroke.
I think it will. If you look at biebandit.com and find the oem Yamaha parts for the motorcycles in question and check to see if they are the same part number, if they are then they will interchange. you can crosscheck different years too if you found a 1975 ty 175 cylinder for your 1975 dt 175. So check out bikebandit and see for yourself, they are the next best thing to a Yamaha dealer.
