Johnson and Evinrude outboards manufactured prior to 1965, require a 24:1 ratio. This ratio works out to 5-6 oz. of 2 cycle oil per gallon of fuel.

Any car or motorcycle that is a true "TOP FUEL" vehicle, uses a mixture of methanol (alcohol) and nitromethane. The current NHRA rules allow for a mixture of 90% nitromethane to 10% alcohol.
i mix mine 30:1 and that works good
Many customers on numerous websites have rated evinrude propellers 5 starts out of 5 for quality. However, evinrude parts have been rated a 6 out of 10 in certain long term tests. I am sure that there are probably other brands that are better than evinrude, so I could not say that they are the "best."
That model number would be for a 1984 10 horse evinrude. If it is a 15 horse now than someone has replaced the original powerhead.
The 1977 model, 70 hp Evinrude outboard requires an NGK BZ7HS-10, or a Champion QL77JC4 Plug gapped to .030 in.

You don't if the vehicle was designed as a flex fuel vehicle. It can safely burn E85 ethanol. You can burn a mixture of 10% Ethanol in any vehicle.
