Dodge Durango is not equipped with a fuel pressure switch
The van wont start and we were told it was the air and fuel regulator or is it the fuel pressure regulator that the lines to the gas peddle go into to make the vehicle run
The fuel pressure regulator is part of the pump in the fuel tank on a Dodge Stratus.

The fuel pressure on a 1989 CRX is between 40 and 42 psi. This is a common pressure range for most vehicles.
Dodge doesn't use fuel pressure sensors on any of it's engines.
You will known when the fuel pump is working on the 1989 Dodge Dynasty because the engine will get fuel from the fuel tank. If the fuel pump is not working, the motor will be unable to idle or run.
