I have a B18b swap in a 91 civic hatchback. There is a msd blaster ss coil, AEM cold air intake, and a custom 4to1 header with skunk2 catback exhaust. I recently installed a BLOX fuel pressure gauge and it reads 25psi at idle and 36psi at full throttle.
One may find more information about B18 from Wikipedia. The B18 is filed under Honda B Engines. A full history and engine specifications are provided.
yes...as long as it is b series it will fit onto any b series example- b18 tranny will be compatible with a b16 motor.......LS is b18....
They were considered "R&B mods".

check you mass air flow sensor had one with that problem the other day check fuel pressure, fuel filter could b clogged or fuel pump could b bad
There are two Type of Systems as follows; a. Gravity Method b. Pressure Feed Method
Relieving Fuel System Pressure *** A fuel pressure gauge, such as Ford Tool T80L-9974-B, is needed to correctly perform this procedure. *** 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the fuel filler cap. 2. Remove the cap from the pressure relief valve on the fuel supply manifold. Install pressure gauge T80L-9974-B or equivalent, to the pressure relief valve. 3. Direct the gauge drain hose into a suitable container and depress the pressure relief button. 4. Remove the gauge and replace the cap on the pressure relief valve. *** As an alternate method on models except 1997 F-150, F-250, Expedition and Navigator, disconnect the inertia switch and crank the engine for 15-20 seconds until the pressure is relieved. ***
The fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump could be bad on the 19900 Lumina. Check both of these to start troubleshooting the problem.

if there is a system consisting of A & B .the pressure of the system is P then the partial pressure of A is=(mol.fraction of A).P partial pressure of B is=(mol.fraction of B).p
your 93 cavalier may have a fuel line blockage which prevents the fuel from gettin to the engine. first i would take off the fuel line to the injectors then have somebody crank the engine for like 2 seconds and if the fuel doesnt spit out of the fuel line or barely comes out then you have a fuel line blockage! check your fuel pressure with a gauge and make sure its within specks, if its low, could be your regulator, another option is your crankshaft position sensor, if this little unit is done, you get what u got! you can check your fuel pressure without a gauge,on the fuel rail there is a release valve, looks like a bike tire valve, pop the cap, with safety in mind depress the stem, to c if fuel comes out, member this should b under pressure and may spray, now turn the key to the on position, listen for your fuel pump to kick on , then depress the fuel rail valve again, careful you dont want a gas bath!!!find out from a garage how much the pressure should b and use common sense, lil pressure lil fizz, big pressure big squirt!!! !!!Plugz!!
