I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 and mine is on the fuel rail
Dodge doesn't use fuel pressure sensors on any of it's engines.
The fuel pressure for a 2004 A Dodge Ram truck with a 1500 5.7 liter engine should run around 47 psi( pounds per square inch). If the fuel pressure is low you might hear grinding or noisy engine.
49 psi +-2psi
It is located in the fuel tank, attached to the fuel pump module.
49 +/- 5 psi
Yes
Yes, it is part of the pump module in the tank.
To fix vapor lock on a 2003 Dodge Stratus, locate the fuel pressure sensor near the fuel pump. There is a button on the side to release pressure. Push on the button, then try to start the vehicle.
That is the float on the side if the pump module in the fuel tank, that relays the amount of fuel to the computer.
It is connected in line to the fuel pump inside the gas tank
The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2506.0 liter engine fuel pressure should be between 15 pounds and 18 pounds. The specifications are for a new engine.
