The correct mixture is 32:1 with the McCulloch oil. However, the mixture used can be as lean as 50:1 with a high quality 50:1 oil. The oil itself is more important than the recommended mix. Oils have improved dramatically in the last 10 years and if an oil claims it will provide adequate lubrication at 50 to 1 than its fine. use synthetic if possible.
