I think that it is about 40 gallons or so. and i do believe that the second tank is lager than the first tank

Should be 19 gal for the front tank and 18.2 gal for the rear tank.

1988 Ford F250 front tank is 19 gallons and rear is 18.2.
I don't know where you can get a diagram but Ford has some recalls out on duel fuel tanks. Check with a dealer yours could be covered.

You can find the ECU on a 1996 F250 behind the hood release lever. This is found on the firewall.Ê
I have a 97 f250 diesel with the 7.3ltr powerstroke. I cant tell you what the manual says about fuel capacity, but the twin tanks on mine hold just about 13 gallons even. Ive run em to the bone (not intentionally) and it took 13 and a drop.
