Nancy Drew is an 18 year old fictional detective written by Carolyn Keene. The first book, Secret of the Old Clock was published in 1930. Nancy lives in a fictional town called River Heights, near Chicago and her mom died when she was a small girl. Her father is named Carson and he holds the occupation of a lawyer. After her mothers death a housekeeper named Hannah Gruen was hired to take care of things. Hannah bakes her famous lemon bars and brownies. Nancy is in a relationship with Ned Nickerson and her two best friends are Bess Marvin and George Fayne. In 1998, Her Interactive released their first game, Secrets Can Kill, and soon after a game series flourished and became very popular, based on the books.
