Centrioles are only found in animal cells. Their funcion to arrange (or help arrange) the chromosomes in a cell so that the cell can split with an even amount of chromosomes when it reporduces.

Centrioles are found only in animal cells. They function in cell division.

Centrioles line up the chromosomes inside the cell and then they pull the chromosomes apart during cell replication.

- Plant cells lack centrioles entirely, and it is the mitotic spindle that lines up and pulls apart the chromosomes during mitosis. In experiments where centrioles are destroyed, spindle formation still occurs and functions normally.

What does a centriole look like?

A centriole is kinda like the president, or maybe the U.S. government. They both allow America to function properly, and centrioles allow the cell to function properly. I just came up with that. Pretty good, huh? :D By the way, do you go to Stanley? Mrs. Chandler/Winter?

Where do centrioles function in the cell?
