To detect heat from/of a fire or something which is dangerously hot in cerrtain apllications. They are connected to fire alarm system where when the heat detector detects heat, it activates the fire alarm causing the need to evacuate. These type of devices are used in applications where smoke detectors would not be practicle. For example, kitchens, boiler houses etc.
an evaportor is to absorb heat in the room and to keep it cool,to release the hot air outside in the atmosphere
The heat of rejection, also known as just heat rejection, is when heat leaves a system. How much heat is lost depends on the system and its functionality.
Path function: Their magnitudes depend on the path followed during a process as well as the end states. Work (W), heat (Q) are path functions. The cyclic integral of a path function is non-zero. work and heat are path functions.Point Function: They depend on the state only, and not on how a system reaches that state. All properties are point functions. The cyclic integral of a point function is zero. properties are point functions, (ie pressure, volume, temperature and entropy).
Heat capacity is NOT a path function. It is a STATE function. It depends on the phase of the material, the temperature and the pressure. Usually heat capacity is known at some particular condition and then a calculation is required to estimate it at the condition of interest. Performing these calculations should always result in the same final value no matter the path you took to get to the value - hence it is a STATE function rather than PATH. Path functions would be things like WORK and HEAT (for which the state function "heat capacity" might be used in the calculations)
The basic function of a cooling unit is to warm up the contents of the system.
A heat detector is connected to a fire alarm system. It is designed to respond when the heat sensitive element has increased temperature due to a fire.
I am not personally familiar with the ademco heat detector, but I have done some research and have found that this head detector is pet immune, and pets do not cause interference with this heat detector security system.
the function of a diode detector is to detect stuff
5M Detector to Detector
A Chubb detector lock has a integral security system which if attempted to be picked causes frustration for the criminal and alerts the owner of the lock that it has been tampered with.
Detector converts optical signal to electric signal
first optical smoke / heat detector to second optical smoke/heat detector maximum distance.
A heat detector is a good addition to the smoke alarm. It will help to detect a heat source that is growing in case the smoke alarm in the home is not functioning.
no
A Bolometer.
a state function basically asks "does it matter how I get there". Heat is not independent. It depends on the system and surrounding, as well as other factors.
Then it wouldn't be a smoke detector, but there are fire alarms that are triggered by temperature.
