Do rental car have smoke detect?
no they do not. Neither does any other car.I received a call just this morning from a car renter who had a quest who smoked in the rental car he had to turn in. He stated that the tape (Smoke detector) had turned a deeper color, indicating someone had been smoking. I was unsure of the tape system he was speaking of, and the only suggestion I had was to not only shampon the carpet and upholstery, I would have to sanitize the air circulation systems to eliminate the smoke odor.
