Gastrin: causes the stomach to produce an acid for dissolving and digesting some foods. It is also necessary for the normal growth of the lining of the stomach, small intestine, and colon. Secretin: causes the pancreas to send out a digestive juice that is rich in bicarbonate. It stimulates the stomach to produce pepsin, an enzyme that digest protein, and is also stimulates the liver to produce bile.
Gastric glands that are in the stomach make secretions called Gastric Juice. The muscular walls of the stomach contract vigorously to mix food with gastric juice producing a mixture called chyme.
Gastrin increases the secretory of gastric glands. Basically it makes more gastric juice. (As found in the 10th edition of Hole's Anatomy and Physiology)
Gastrin is a hormone that aids in the breaking-down of food in the digestive system. It works by stimulating the production of gastric acid(HCL) which than breaks down the food.
a polypeptide hormone,
The hormone responsible for inhibiting the release of gastric juice is known as gastric inhibitory polypeptide.
It is a hormone produced by stomach.Itg stimulates secretion of gastric juice.
cholecystokinin
Somatostatin
produce gastric juice
Gastrin.
Gastric acid secretion is regulated by hormones in the digestive system. This hormone, gastrin is secreted by the lining of the stomach.
chyme is the mixture of gastric juice and the food intake. gastric juice is released by the hormone gastrin into the stomach.
The four or five gastric arteries supply the lining of the stomach. The three main ones are called the left gastric artery, the right gastric artery and the short gastric artery.
The hormone gastrin functions to increase HCl production in the stomach. Gastric is secreted by G cells.
There is no such a hormone.FSH's release is triggered by Gonadarophin releasing hormone.
