The MAJOR organs in the circulatory system are three. Heart, Lungs, and Brain. Without any one of these three organs the circulatory system ceases to function. Actually, Left ventricle pumps blood to body through the vessels, goes to right atrium, goes to right ventricle where it goes through the lung to get oxygen, goes to left atrium, then back to left ventricle. The order of oxygen flow begin in the right atrium, to the right ventricle. Into the pulmonary artery to the lungs returning via the pulmonary veins to the left atrium. From the left atrium to the left ventricle to the aota then into the body.

The circulatory system does create, essentially, one or two large loops in the body. Blood moves from the left ventricle to the systemic arteries, then capillaries, then veins of the systemic circulation. Blood returns from the systemic circulation to the right atrium, then right ventricle, then to the pulmonary artery. It goes to the lungs and returns to the left atrium via the pulmonary veins.
