Trachea: It is the airway that allows air to pass or exit the lungs.
Lungs: Takes in oxygen to be carried to the rest of the body by the means of circulation blood. Oxygen is carried to cells, which is needed for them to survive. It also gets rid of carbon dioxide which is the waste product of the cells.Diaphragm: Is the muscle that aids the trachea and lungs in the respiratory process by contracting and releasing as air passes and exits the body. The trachea, bronchi, lungs, nose, and alveoli each play an important role in respiration. First, the air enters the body through the nose. It is slightly filtered by the hairs inside of the nose. Next, the air travels through the trachea, which is a tube down your throat. Then, the air is sent through the two bronchi, which split from the trachea. The bronchi split into smaller tubes which end in tiny sacs, called alveoli. The alveoli are only a single cell thick, and this is where the blood becomes oxygenated through tiny capillaries attached to the alveoli.
You know how you breathe in and out? How your chest swells and lowers? It is due to the diaphragm. It rises and falls as you breathe allowing your lungs to fill with as much oxygen as possible and remove as much carbon dioxide as possible. Other than this I know no other purpose.
The function of the lungs in the Respiratory System is to inhale oxygen that plants release, and exhale corbon dioxide, which plants inhale
Changing the volume of the chest cavity, and therefore inspiration and expiration.
The function of the diaphragm is to inflate and deflate the lungs for gaseous exchange.
It is to allow diffusion (gaseous exchange) to take place. = )

because the diaphragm helps the lungs with the breathing.<3
The Diaphragm is part of the respiratory system.
it takes the blood to the heart and flows through out the body
Diaphragm is not part of respiratory system but part of muscular system but it helps in breathing movements .yes
The diaphragm is in the respiratory system.
The diaphragm is the main muscle involved with the respiratory system. It either contracts or expands to allow air in or out of the lungs, which makes you breathe. The diaphragm is the main muscle involved with the respiratory system. the diaphragm
Diaphragm muscles are necessary moving air out of your lungs. Muscular system-respiratory system
The diaphragm is functionally part of the muscular system, as it is a muscle. Functionally, it is critical to the respiratory system.
Your lungs, the diaphragm, alveoli, bronchi, and capillaries are all in the respiratory system
